Ania has been dancing for 24 years, fusing her past training in jazz, tap, funk and hip hop into her JFH classes. Her style is fresh and energetic, with a focus on ‘feeling’ the music. Ania keeps updated by doing Sydney Dance Company classes and workshops, and has recently returned from New York City where she trained with top USA choreographers. Ania plans to complete her PhD in Molecular Biology in 2009.

Kate has been teaching ballet, jazz, modern contemporary and showgroup at Rhythmic Moves for five years now, and loves every minute of it! She believes dance plays an important role in life – as exercise for the body and the brain, as a way to express emotions and as a chance to learn life skills such as discipline and commitment. 2008 was a great year for Kate, completing university as a qualified high-school Dance and English teacher, and playing the Swedish blonde ‘Ulla’ in The Producers. |

Angela began training in Belly Dance in 1993 and has performed professionally for many years. She began teaching at Rhythmic Moves in 2005. Angela believes that every student has their own unique style and personality in their dance and encourages her students – regardless of age or size - to have confidence and to have fun while they learn this beautiful and ancient artform.

Teacher Danielle has studied numerous dance styles over the years, with jazz, funk and modern expressive/contemporary remaining her favourites. She has also studied and coached American-style cheerleading (competing at national and international competitions) and most recently was given the opportunity to choreograph several community theatre productions, including HMS Pinafore for the Arcadians Theatre Group. |

Teacher Susie started dancing at the age of eight, studying jazz ballet, gymnastics, ballroom and latin. She represented the state in gymnastics eventually becoming a judge and won many ballroom/latin competitions such as the Australian Ballroom Dance Championships, and the South Pacific Dance Championships. At Rhythmic Moves, Susie teaches Ballroom/Latin and Bollywood as well as choreographing routines for bridal couples. |

Teacher Keeley has been passionate about performing ever since she learned to talk and hasn’t stopped doing either since. She’s performed in several plays including the IPAC’s Lochie Leonard in 2004. Keeley has denied the rumours that her classes are fun and insists that the hysteric laughter must be coming from another classroom. |

Teacher Erin has been teaching at Rhythmic Moves for two years, starting with only a small Junior Jazz. This year she has expanded her teaching repertoire, taking Pre Jazz, Junior Funk and Mum & Me on board as well. She is currently studying Psychology at Wollongong University, and is hoping to transfer to Primary Education next year. Erin has enjoyed every minute of teaching in 2008, and is very proud of all her little dancers! |

Teacher Andrea has over fifteen years dance training in styles including; ballet, national character, jazz, modern/contemporary, tap and musical theatre. She is currently undertaking a Bachelor Dance/Bachelor Education at the University of New South Wales and recently won 1st place at the 2008 National EDTA Ballet Awards in Brisbane. Andrea loves passing on her passion and knowledge for dance to all of her students. |

Teacher Meagan began dancing for fun at the age of 4 learning tap and jazz, later exploring Irish and jazz ballet before focusing on jazz, tap, and more recently, funk. Meagan has performed in numerous eisteddfods and school productions and received achievement awards in jazz, tap and funk facets. A belief in the Rhythmic Moves motto drives Meagan’s passion for dance as she looks forward to sharing it with you for fun, fitness, and friendship in the future! |

Teacher Chiara’s love of singing and performing started from the age of three. Since then she has become an active member of the Illawarra performing arts scene as well as playing lead roles in various productions. She has extensive performance experience and enjoys passing those skills onto her students. Chiara is currently juggling her double degree in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Media and Communications at UOW with being a fashion intern at Girlfriend magazine, her other passion.

Nicole Fitzsimons Teacher Nicole Fitzsimons trained in all disciplines at the Deidre Bronner School of Ballet in Sydney from the age of 5. Focusing primarily on ballet she undertook a full-time ballet course at Brent Street Studios in 2005 before also training at the New Zealand School of Dance full-time ballet course in 2006. Hoping to broaden her horizons and knowledge of dance, Nicole then studied a full-time performing arts course at ED5 International in 2007 under William Forsythe. In 2008 Nicole accepted an 8 month contract working in a live show at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan, dancing as both Wendy and Snow White.

Melinda Coates Assistant to the Principal / Receptionist Melinda has been working at Rhythmic Moves for five years now and appreciates being able to combine her mad admin skills with her love of theatre and writing. Involved in community theatre for many, many years, she wrote a musical called Atlantis with a friend and directed it for the Arcadians in 2003. Since then she has been operating the spotlight and doing lighting design for various Arcadians productions. Backstage at the recital you’ll find her directing traffic. |
