What are the Tap class general precautions?

Tap dancing is a great form of exercise however, certain people should seek medical advice before commencing a class, including:

  • people who have recently had surgery
  • pregnant women (you can attend tap classes up to your final weeks however you must take care not to increase your core temperature)
  • anyone who has not exercised for a long time
  • people who have blisters, ingrown toenails, shin splints, ankle sprains or knee pain
